Is there a good rgb format for animations?
Any of you know how widely supported alternative animation formats are on different browsers/computers? Gifs are obviously not good for any kind of art, but I don't want to go to a full-blown video. I'm pretty much stumped. Any of you know a solution?
I just created a really nice 102 frame animation of some bokkeh art changing colors, and I can't figure out how to get everyone to see it

My main problem is the conversion to indexed colors. 256 isn't close to enough to do the subtle differences across the 1000x400 pic, and I'm using the whole spectrum, so even worse

Im guessing the regular .PNG would work, as .PNG was made specifically in order to replace the animated .GIF format.
Go look it up. Im not 100% sure if it would support animations like gif or not but best bet says it does.____________________________________________________________________________
