Two guys, Lennie Smalls and George Milton go looking for a job in the time of the Great Depression. They were recently run out of a town cause Lennie, who has mental issues, decided to grab hold of a woman's dress and feel it, cause he likes soft things. So the woman calls rape and they run out of town.
George, who has deemed himself caretaker of Lennie, goes and looks for a job for the two of them and finds one at a farm.
At this farm, the characters Slim, Curley, Candy, Crooks, and Curley's wife. Curley's wife is never given a name; she is a prostitute.
I could explain the rest, but i've lost my train of thought. That should get through like the first 50 pages... LOL
