    Silent shot without TK

I know this is hack site, but I still have a general MW2 question. Does anyone know how to do the silent shot trick with Intervention, without using tk? I've seen people using it with both changing weapon and reload, but I've never managed to do it.

    EDIT

First, this thread was created because I wondered if someone here knew how to do a silent kill without using a throwing knife. After alomst two hours and 70 S&D wins, I finally figured it out. So, I decided converting the thread to a tutorial instead.

This method is really cool, and I truly reccomend it for people wanting to do some more advanced trickshots.

    Here is what you need:
    - An opponent which your kill on will lead into a game winning killcam
    - Any weapon that kills the enemy with one bullet
    - Any secondary weapon

This is wat I reccomend you to have:
    - A sniper (Intervention) as your primary
    - A handgun for your secondary (this will make the sniper switch to the left very fast, which looks much cooler, instead of straight down, and/or slowly).
    - Sleight of Hand Pro (Strongly reccomended)

    How to do it:
    1. Make sure you have bullets left to reload your gun, but you also need to shoot once, so that the mag isn't full (so that you can reload)
    2. Aim (optional)
    3. Shoot one bullet to your enemy (release the mouse immediately after shooting, so you don't shoot with your secondary afterwards. looks uncool)'
    4. You don't need to release the aim. Instead you have to press the reload button a millisecond after shooting. Then, change your weapon a millisecond after that. All three actions has to be done at almost the exact same time, but still in that order.

As for me, it took alot of practice. Everything has to fit exactly, and it's not particularly easy to do.

Here is a video of me doing it (thanks to @DEREK TROTTER for the EliteMossy mod, where I can practice on bots! No way I would find any friends wanting to help me with that for such a long time..):

The video I figured it out on, was this:

    (After about 15 seconds)

I've tried reloading/changing weapon very fast, but without luck. Though, on the video they're saying you have to press both X and Y (on Xbox) immediatley after shooting. I'm not sure what those buttons would be on the computer.

Have you taken into consideration that the shot is only silent in a killcam?

Zoom in > Shoot > Press and Hold TK button, when it tilts up do a weapons change real quick to switch back to your gun.

It only works when your opponents watch their killcams, it's never actually silent to you unless get the GWK.

Of course I know it only shows on the killcam, and that's what I want to achieve.

If you press TK button right after kill, it is a TK silent shot. In the video you don't see the TK crosshairs after he shoots, so I'm pretty sure there is another way.

Do you think it's very practical to spin around in the air and try to hit the enemy with one shot? Either ways, to make such a statement, I'm guessing ur a regular UMP-player. The reason I want to figure this out is because I've played MW2 for quite a long time, and I'm tired of getting a bunch of nukes and rushing around with an UMP. I want to do kewl stuff, because it is challenging.

Couldn't agree more. The game is just too awesome, you have to try out all aspects of it.
