Dont select a folder and click ok dat should make it default
Ok, I get this error from time to time when using the VIP hack. It's not because I don't have directx9 or a good graphic card driver, it;s just a minor glitch in the game. I just simply reboot or retry over. Sometimes I'll have to play without hacks first then try again.
Stop flaming each other, it helps no one, and causes a step backwards rather than a step forwards.
Read the rules before you decide to voice your opinion.
Check your Grammar/Spelling/Facts before typing, otherwise I or another member will do it for you. And that just makes you look stupid.
You dont need to download anything. I had that too but when i deleted all my hacks, it works again. !
the DirectX9c doesnt pick default for me, i'd have to do it manually or something but idk where
you dont need any special place, just extract it to ur desktop in its own folder. once extracted u click setup.exe or whatever it is and it installs it. after its done installing u delete the folder on ur desktop.
depending on what OS ur using (win xp, vista, etc) u might need to do something else. on xp sp2 theres a bug and u cant install dx 9.0c over 9.0b. you can see what version of directx u have by clicking on the start button, click on run, type in dxdiag and press enter. once that loads up look at the bottom of the list and it will tell u what version of directx u have installed. if after you install 9.0c dxdiag still says u have 9.0b then this is what u have to do:
First download the directx9.0c redist and the directx9.0b redist. when you have downloaded you click on the files and you choose to extract it to a folder make a directx9.0c and directx9.0b folders on your desktop. once extracted your ready for next part.
You need to download directx eradicator which can be found by typing it on google or looking on the softpedia website. when you download save it to your desktop for easier access. when download is finished unzip the files and there will be a directx rollback and DXERAD file . double click on the DXERAD file and it will tell are you sure you want to uninstall directx say yes and then it will tell you the computer will restart. once restared the comp might take long for the desktop items to show up this is normal be patient( some errors might come up to). once you can see all the desktop items go into your directx9.0c folder you made. in here should be your extracted files for directx9.0c. copy all the .cab files into your directx9.0b folder you made and replace them with the ones already in the dirext x9.0b folder. now click on the dxinstall button IN THE DIRECT X 9.0B FOLDER. and it should install properly after that it will restart your computer. once its done go on start, run ,dxdiag and walaa directx9.0c .
