What are the consequences, Are they as Ruthless as WoW.

For WoW if you get caught Keylogging, you get arrested

IF your under 18 you go to a Juvenile Correction camp

Anyways, Nexon DID ban with IP addresses about a year ago on MapleStory. But they probably stopped because they *finally* discovered that proxies and static IPs exist. They cannot stop hackers. That is what they suck most at. So, you can hack as much as you want in CA (as long as it will exist :P).

I highly doubt you'd go to jail for keylogging someone; most of the time its their fault for downloading illegal software for a game which happened to contain a keylogger in it.

Not to mention theres a big difference between cheating in a game and hacking such as viruses, keyloggers, etc... The people/company getting keylogged or actually hacked could have a very good reason to get everybody they can involved *lawyers,cops, fbi..etc*.. Were as cheating in a game..um nothing a ban can't handle *specially punkbuster bans*.

If you're gonna hack into computers.. Go for a huge company/goverment.. Hey you'll either be in the fed. jail *which is known to be easier then state prisons depending on the crime you committed* or you might just get a job.. lol
