so ive been working a lot on this new mod, trying to get better. i want to know if it should be kinda dark or not. (but im not going lighter than 40 cuz then the black parts wont look as good.) so which one do u like better, the darker or lighter pic? @sliverboi @PID3RMAN @Zephyr @spidermanftw @Demøn @mastalol @sazzad123 @Scorpian @Ghost8631

Edit: My debate: Darker=more black, but lighter=looks kinda better (brighter) but not as much black. (i am trying to get it to be a red gun with black edges/details)

look at the black parts not the red. in the darker one, there is more black.

The black makes the entire thing look darker.

Make some parts actually black; OH, the parts that you made black will not show up ingame.

Those parts of the textures are not visible ingame.

Make like the handgrip black.

Ignore the parts that you made black, black, because they won't show ingame.

Be careful where you put MPGH on it, also again, the black you had originally will not show up ingame, so make actual parts of the gun black.

The rest can be red.



Also, make sure to overlay the MPGH text.

yeah i am doing that lol (the handle is black -u can see it in the updated pic- and im making the railing more black, and a few more places. and im engraving the MPGH text the way I always do.)

I see that you got to 1337 on your main; go make a thread in general, or PM/VM a mod/gmod/admin.

As a side note, be careful when you engrave, because it can come out nasty if you change the angling of the shadow too much.

yeah I havent quite gotten there yet. (1335 right now.) I am using this one cuz im releasing this mod on the main, then posting a post in general section. (+2 posts, then 1337 ban) got it all planned out lol

and yeah I do. usually, I leave it at 5.

umm the first i like the way the light hits it (i can just imagine it in snowvalley next to a spot light). but, i like the way the brighter one shows details. personally id do the dark (first).
