And lighting is a bitch. I guess I just don't have a feel for it. Been trying to find some tutorz, but they don't help out much...

Basically just realize that if you shine a light on something there is gonna be light on the object you're shining it on. So like if you have a blue light source, add some blue to the render and other parts of your sig and make it look realistic.

TBH I would make this bigger. Maybe add some more effects in on the side and some text. More dynamic lighting and it's perfect (atleast to me)

Effects c4ds, fractals whatever same shit
As Ryguy said just look at your tag and ask yourself if it looks right because most times you'll see that maybe there a really bright light source somewhere yet nothing seems to be affected by it

Yea, I understand the basic idea. But the tricky part is when the light is coming from a depth or is somewhere close. Also, I think I need to start with the light that the render already has, and maybe work from there.
