Why should you be included in the new GFX team: I work on a photographic shop, we ALWAYS use Adobe (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects..), Corel Draw, but I'm specialized in video editing, and 3D modeling, in fact, I use Cinema4D (I'm also posting several tutorials on the "Tutorials" section about C4D), Sony Vegas, and After Effects.
I do not have 500 posts, and I can't stay online more than 4 hours per day except the weekend, but I have to work and I do sport..
The real reason I want to be a GFX member, is because, I love this job, and I like to help out beginners! I don't like to be the only one doing this stuff...
I also have a pretty nice PC, to render my creations faster, and I'm a great fan of games (that's why I'm here :3)

Why should you be included in the new GFX team

Before I go on, and tell you how I feel, I want to notify you that my intentions for applying is to show my willingness to become GFX Leader. I know the Leader will be chosen separately but I want that position more than anything. You can decide to chose your leader by yourselves and just have me as a member of GFX but I don't need the coloured name, or the fancy tag. I can contribute just as much without all that. Whilst I was leader I had purpose. I had responsibility.

First and foremost I have been an active member of the GFX Team since around July 2009 up until June of this year, and was a GFX Moderator from around September of 2009 until October-November of 2010. Obviously the argument against that would be, if I did such a great job then why does GFX need restructuring. To be honest I have no definitive answer. I guess I was too set in my ways that I nurtured this section the wrong way. I taught people the art of sigmaking, how to appreciate it, how to critique it, and how to make it. I never thought to lead them away from it and into the realms of web design, so it was inevitable that when MPGH needed something of them they wouldn't be able to deliver the goods. If you wanted them to make tutorials about sigs, make packs containing vital resources to sigmaking, they would be most capable of providing. So I guess in a way it was my fault that we never provided, I led the GFX Team and the members of the GFX section. I was their mentor and ultimately I'm the one to blame.

Does that make me less capable of leading them once again? That's up for you to decide. In my honest opinion I can do more than I have. I can not only contribute myself, but I think I can lead the section to contribute as a whole. But I am not the one making the decisions. If all you want is a mindless worker who spends his day pumping out sig requests, I'm not your guy. I have to much love for GFX to be mindless. But if what you want is someone who is passionate, who enjoys his time on MPGH, who tries his best, who is willing to change in order to help those requiring help, who knows his stuff, who is willing to venture out of their comfort zone just to give it a shot, than I think I am your guy.

But ultimately it up for you guys to decide. Whether I am chosen or not, I will still be here. I don't hold grudges, I am not bitter.

Why should you be included in the new GFX team:
As you staff may or may not know, I wasn't exactly the top contributer of the former gfx team, but I believe now I have prior responsibilities I'm actually motivated to get jobs done. My intentions on going the GFX team now and before hand was to help MPGH, it's what I've wanted to do all along and with a set task I can achieve this. If as a GFX team member you want someone who is set a task and can do it effectively and to a high standard then I'm the person you need. Layouts and such is more of what I'm focused on now, mainly due to school as that is the primary work I do in design classes.

I enjoy working in Photoshop for tasks that mean something, not simply creating sigs to hand out and pass around. I don't create art to be judged by, but create art to express and share with people what I can create. I'm not in it for the tag, or the perks, I'm simply wanting to join to help and be apart of something in which I can share what I'm good at with others and make it count and contribute to something.

Why should you be included in the new GFX team:

Personally i have a love for graphics and art. At school I take both of these subjects and know what i am doing. As you can see the last poster design is something i made for school. I have reasonable experience in Photoshop and also interface design. I would be more than happy to make a mock up design for you too see. I do not rip nor do I leech. I currently am a designer for Kl Core Canada a gaming blog (If given the job at MPGH i would be willing to dedicate myself to MPGH). If i was given i job e.g design a new YouTube layout i would be dedicated by going through what is known as the design process which is Research>Concepts>Development>Final design. This which will all be presented to Dave or whom gives me the job. Currently my activity on MPGH is low but I will be alot more active if chosen for this job. Why should you be included in the new GFX team: As you can see above I can make almost anything, from hack backgrounds through logo's to splash screens. I'm also active on MPGH for one year now(by activity I don't mean spamming, I mean checking in alot of times/day, posting IF needed). I'm familiar with C4D, 3DS Max, After Effects, etc., so I can easily make GIF's, video's, 3D creations. Also I can speak english. I can handle request very fast and with quality. And I would gladly be a GFX'er, because I think this group actually DOES something. And last, but not least, I don't do photoshopping because I need to. I do it because I love it!

Why should you be included in the new GFX team:

I've been in the Graphics section for quite some time and I think I've built up the required skills to get into the team. I am not hiding the extreme desire to get into the team, and it will only encourage me to become even better than I currently am. I'm very active in the GFX section, even more than I was in the General before. I give quite helpful information and CnC and I know how to give advices and help regarding any problems. I have the mediocre (soon-to-be-pro) skills in Photoshop and I am able to do the requests, as from staff, so from regular users. I don't only make tags, I create trust-worthy and large resource packs. I will also start making tutorials soon. I can handle contests with ease and if none of the GFX team is available at a certain moment I can make and control contest and such similar threads. I dedicate a lot of time to this section, and I'm sure my contributing helps to a lot of people, and so on will continue if I get a chance to prove myself to you. I can also provide you with VIP hack menus, MPGH logos, advertisements and many other things, just as long as you ask for them.
Besides, I see a lot of people are applicating here with a desire of getting VIP, I really don't care about that. I'm here because I enjoy doing things with Photoshop and develop further skills by each new work. I'm here, I do what I do and I'm loyal as to this section, so to the whole site in complete.

Why should you be included in the new GFX team: I would love to able to become staff its been something I have wanted to do for a long time time, ever since I had joined the forums it was my top priority to be on here and one day make staff, and well its been about two years now and I believe that I need to step up and pursue my dream. I decided I would attempt to go for GFX because that was the main reason I had even joined MPGH in the first place was to come here and expand what I already knew and eventually learn something new and improve my skills for it along the way. Well I wound up later leaving the graphics section to pursue going after a staff position, it failed miserably and I completely gave up on GFX to attempt to learning Coding and VFX but I wasn't good at either of them, and at times I had no idea what I was even doing nor understand what I was learning and forgetting the next day. I am not saying that I am great with GFX but that rather that's what I feel the most comfortable with. While I am still learning more and more each day about Graphics and how it works and the technical terms I feel more confident with what I do, and would like to mentor others as I am learning as well I would still have that information still fresh in my head and would better help me teach people. I have also matured over the time for instance when I first joined the GFX section I would take the criticism of my work worse than others mainly because I wasn't used to people saying my work sucked but I have learned that it doesn't matter and that they are trying to help somewhat and I would like to be there for new coming GFXers and guide them and let them know what they can do to improve their work as well.

What I am getting at is that I would love the opportunity to show you all that I am responsible enough and have what it takes to become staff. That I have new ideas to propose and I know what I am doing with graphics and I would like to help other members become better at GFX. I would like to restore the section to its former glory where we would have 50+ members daily posting their work and improving and getting to know one another as well. I would also not turn down a members request on something that they were not capable. I would not tell a coder to make his own design just as he wouldn't tell me to code my own hacks. I wouldn't say no to a member who needed a new youtube skin, just as he wouldn't ask me to add all of the video effects and recordings. I just would like a chance.

I also did each one of my entry's last night and this morning except for the last two . Their not the best but I gave it a whirl. Anyways good luck to everyone entering for this position.

i have had 5 years of photoshop experience , also a few years in adobe after affects, Sony vegas Pro, Gimp, Solidworks, visual studio and UDK unreal 3 engine development.
