The only C2D cpu I still have is the su7300 @ 1.9GHz w/o over-volting. Laptop still holds it's ground with around 10 hours of battery life

I have E7300 - 2.66 ghz

Apart from my Swedish build, he hasn't got any other suggestions. I would say this is far from "fixed". I'll most likely make a german version that can be shipped for a reasonable price later, cbf now =/

HDDs are cheap enough you can buy 2 or 3 500Gb drives and not have a huge impact on price, or find some deals on TB+ sized ones.

afaik that game has pretty low requirements and can be run by pretty much any average computer well.

On a 21" 1680*1050 screen most likely, yeah. And just go for 2x 1TB in raid0 or something if you have the money

As for the screen, it depends what kind of things you'll be doing. If you want something cheap and okay for gaming grab the first TN panel with decent colour reproduction and you're good to go

21" screens usually have 1680*1050, it's a standard 16:10 resolution. 23" are the HD ones
