whats your favorite rootkit remover?

i usually stick to avg's rootkit remover. i've been told to check hijackthis also.

I use AVG.. I don't download porn(not mentioning any names.. *cough* dibola *cough*) so my anti virus is pretty useless. Im not sure what a rootkit is either navi..

all right i loaded up spyware doctor........patched it "activate it"....then scanned everything....it found 80 infections .....my systems running fast again...but damn i gotta do a defrag

damn it im still getting runtime errors....i installed c++ 2008 ..that didnt work ...my apps like pc tool's threatfire firewall gets a gui run time error and xire wont run...damn what else could i do
