    yes, but some people enjoy hearing the game without the music competing with all the other sounds, most games have individual levels for bgm, sfx, speech etc. But not vindictus, so this is the only option for people wanting to mute the music but not the rest.

    bind YOURKEY stopsound (this also works on cs )
    and done it stops the ingame music (you will hear the hits n stuff)

    All of those methods work, as a personal way of you guys, but these 2 second audio files are a one step process so you don't have to do them again when you play. Till next patch. Lmao (;

    yup and if i remember i'll just re up to include the new ones save people the effort even though it doesnt take long at all.

    could @Nicdel please open the main post (add back the edit button) so i can update? it may not be a huge contribution but a few people still use it so i figured i'd update it since i already updated my own, and i wanted to add hackshield splash mods.

    this lags me more than what i do (using this), but that may just be because i'm on an ancient computer. dell inspiron 1521 laptop, so i prefer this mod.

    i try replacing the bgm with the silent ones but the bgm still plays when i open the game then i saw where it say renaming the bgm folder also helps so i try that but still nothing bgm still play in game.

    Try renaming your BGM folder to some like BGM1. That should do it.

    i got it was the sound effects that got me confuse with the bgm. anyway to mute the sound effects too?

    I'd like to know this as well. I replaced all the sound files in the ambient folder, but I still get battle noises, dog sounds (which I get enough of here irl!), and the boat music. Any way to mute these?

    not currently. the sound effects are inside HFS files which used to be able to be modded, but not anymore because of all the mods released for them
