HELP ME MY COMPUTER IS BUSTED!!!!

So I have a shitty Dell Dimesion E521 that can barely play minecraft. Well just this morning my computer decided not to turn on. If you pressed the power button, it would glow yellow, then immediately shut off. I then decided to press the power button multiple times and then it turned on, but the light was shining yellow, not green. My monitor would not turn on and I was stuck. This has happened before but it was fixed. I don't remember what it was a long time ago.

Does anyone know how to fix it? Dell Support is retarded and they make it difficult to follow the steps.

Is it broke? Is the power supply failing? Is the motherboard failing?

Please answer appropriately as this is important as the only other computer I have is 5 years of older then the newish Dell.

Do this

if its a laptop
remove the battery for 10 seconds and than put it back

if its a box remove the cable from the plug

probably motherboard ( aint sure but i had same problem with my comp some months ago and it was that )

try calling dell again and follow steps carefully.

then if that doesnt work then its 95% sure that its your motherboard

Well since my computer is 5 years old I have no warranty, so Dell wont help me. I guess that means a new computer. HURRAY!!!!!!! NOW I CANT ACTUALLY GAMES ON IT NOW!!!!!!

Well I don't personally have a computer, I said Mac was shit to my parents but they still want to get it.. I'll just add Win7 to it so when it starts up you can choose whether you would like to go to MacOS or Win7OS.
