Because Battlefield 3 has Windows 7/Vista as required.
I was wondering if Mw3 will have Windows xp.
Otherwise Its time to upgrade.

Its extremely likely that MW3 will be able to run on XP. As for specs, dont expect anything much higher than MW2 was.

Not now. Though when it comes out you can download on steam but you have to pay for it unless someone releases a cracked version

There will probably be a fake version like AlterIw but yeah.
