Not quite as good as the 8800, but it still plays almost every game installed on it ad at least a medium high.

Got a radeon hd 4800, there's been the 5000 and 6000 series since then, but it still plays new games on max settings. That might change with skyrim though, it looks like it's taking things to a whole new level.
