I just find it funny when laptops advertise their Intel Graphics as "FUTURE PROOF FOR YOUR 3D GRAPHICS GAMES HD MOVIES" when it even runs minecraft poorly.

Actually anything after the 4500MHD can play HD without any problems and without stressing the cpu, the new gen ones are capable of playing back 3D HD via hdmi 1.4 (that's the "3D" part in their new "3D" campaign or smth).

overclocking your graphics card does close to nothing you might get a few extra fps in games but that is about it ruins your cards life.

As long as you know what you're doing you can get a reasonable increase and no damage to the card

I doubt you fried it unless you were stupid enough to overvolt it to a great extent

It's an ATI Graphics Card, which means you should have Catalyst Control Center on your PC. There are some easy overclock settings in there, you can slide them down a little bit. But keep in mind if you don't have a good cooling system in your computer, your graphics card may overheat, and get damaged. Be cautious.

Like Moto said, needa be careful
Mysuggestion is that u shoulda use the ATI Catalyst to overclock it, a tool that comes with ATI cards, Its easier to use but beware, dont OC too much or it will be damaged. I had one HD3470 on my Sony Laptop but insted of OC I bought a POwer gaming desktop.

With a much lower performance/price ratio and the 460 can handle most games just fine

Clocks aren't everything, timings and at what voltage the ram operates should be taking into consideration
