Yes everyone has heard the same thing in 2012 we are gonna all die. WRONG, there is one theory in which i believe is correct as he predicted 9/11* correctly, his name is Nostradamus. Anyways his theory in a modern day translation is that 2012 will be affected by several attacks:

1.environental attack - droughts, floods, earthquakes, ec.
2.political breakdown - poloticians will be out of control.
3.Market crash-possibly another wall st. crash i dunno.

so yes prepare for this new world order.

Flaming chariots from the sky could mean shooting stars or meteorites. What I'm basically saying is it's all crap. We have the obsession with adding significance to something that is insignificant. We just made the connection, doesn't mean that's what he predicted. We see what we want to see. 2012 will be a normal year like every other year. It will have it's problems and disasters like they happen every year so there is no need to tie it to some mayan crap or predictions made by some guy looking into a bowl of dirty water

They already concluded that the Calender is several hundred years off.
The way they interpreted time didnt correlate with our years and time span.

Nobody can prove or disprove that the world as we know it is going to end. But i can tell you this, our way of life is in for a very rude awakening. Things are going to get much worse before they get better. And when you start to hear that the US dollar is no longer the national reserve currency or countries start looking for an alternative, (which some have already mentioned.) Be ready. We are the only country in the world that doesnt have to produce anything for everything we consume. Our debt is so great that the only solution they can come up with is to borrow money and print MORE. Which is devalueating the US dollar. I garuntee that in the next 8-12 months there is going to be significant change to our way of life. There will be panic, there will be terror, and there will be some sort of catastrophe. Like history teaches a good war is always a solution when things start to get out of hand. Its the natural order, choas then order, order then chaos.
