I'm with Saboteur on this one. Those who get visuals on LSD are just placebo'ing the affect. No active ingredient in the process of creating LSD is a psychoactive, which would be needed to give real visuals. The whole "hallucination" part of LSD stems from the overabundance of brain activity, which causes people to believe they see things, but no actual full blown hallucinations occur when on a trip.

This is more of a 2C-I or Paoti experience.

This wasn't a debate. When someone is suspected to be under the influence of LSD in the movies this is how they pretend the persons vision behaves. It's easier to associate the effect this picture has on your vision as "LSD vision" than to get into the details.
