MW2 - g_gametype

Hey,

i'm struggling a bit with mw2 liberation 1.05 and the dev console. If i host a game like free for all and i try to change the gametype to "tdm", i'll open the dev console and type in "g_gametype tdm" and then "map_restart". okay, but after the map restarts, it stills says "free for all", even if the "voice" is saying "TEAM DEATHMATCH"

what do i wrong? even with admin menus it wont work.

If you type in an invalid gametype, it will automatically go to FFA.

Thank you guys. I just started a search & destroy game, opened the console, typed in "g_gametype war" followed by "map_restart". But after it restarts, it still says "search & destroy" at the loading screen and at the scoreboard, but the voice at the beginning says "team-deathmatch". :/

Are you sure? What gametype does it say when you're in-game.

If i start a game from the lobby e.g "team-deathmatch" and i do "g_gametype dm" "map_restart" it still says "team-deatchmatch" in game. but at the start the intro voice says "free for all", but it isn't free for all.

Do i need to copy the .gsc files in the gametypes folder of every mod where i want to change the gametype with the console?

The loading screen always says the original gametype. The scoreboard sometimes too but it is always the gametype you loaded that you'll play. At least for me...
