MPGH in the woods.

So in my search for doing tutorials, I found this one that looked cool, and took my own spin on it.

These are the two versions I present.

its very good, i think you need more too the bg and the second versions grass looks fairly unrealistic.

keep it up though!

i distorted the "text" to make it seem more carved rather than just pasted there, and the foliage yeah, it was last minute couldn't find a decent rendered foliage thing, so i went with brushes.

yeh i like what you did too the text, its just the tail/leg on the P is odd XD

maybe next time you can take some time on the grass and maybe blend a woods scene in.

or something along those lines ^^ but as i said, it looks good, i like it

I agree to what storm says but overall its good. The grass could have been more realistic if a matching bg was to be used but .

Huh, I didn't know you did any graphic design.
It's really good but the dot thing in the P, I don't know why but It seems out of place somehow.

Anyway I was trollenz obviously.

My only real beef with this is that I see you were going for a wood burned effect,
well I think to really execute this with a bit more realism,
than there should be some areas on the inner section of your lettering that should actually look as if it were burnt up. The woodgrain doesn't look as if it had been manipulated,
because there is no disruption in the grain, it's only darker.
Grass looks ok..I don't care if it looks a bit artificial because the block itself looks it as well.
Overall pretty cool, at least a bit different from the techy theme,
and I'm an avid mountain climber/wilderness survival ****** that drinks pee to survive,
so is legit.

i would tone down the black, so it looks more natural and burned
