If you want the best CPU, it would be an Opteron 12 cores. Best GPu would be 4x 6990 HD. Best ram would be about 32 GB next year DDR3 2000 Mhz. But, to build that, you would need a closet for the casing, cuz the Opterons are actually server CPUs. A PC with those components would probably be the best for 2 years, and then it would be just lower performance over the years. That setup would have about 1000 fps on CF. But you wouldnt be able to see the difference. You could make a ram disk for CF too. Loading a map would be less than a second. EDIT: Never bu nVidia cards! They are shit at overheating! ATI may have about 10 lower FPS but they do not fail as much as nVidia

Îf you took 30 minutes to look how to setup a custom config., and 1 days to learn about CPU GPU relation, RAM, and stuff, you would build a beast computer like me in 10 minutes. And look at me, I'm like 14 years old :P ^^
