and let them type in the console: connect ip

You want to host a private match?

Just click private match at the main menu, select your settings, go ingame. Then type "findexternalip" into your console and copy + paste the IP to your friends. Then they have to type "connect iphere" in the console to join your private match. Make sure your distance isn't far between you guys, along with not having shitty nets. It should work out fine. You also try dedicated servers (ones you will have a better connection to will have lower ping, sort by that).
