pretty simple tutorial here, but one that plagued me for a short while.

when you are trying to target certain games with simple memory scanners/packet editors (cheat engine/t-search/wpe/etc) some games/processes are hidden, i.e. not on the list to be able to target.

the simple solution to this is download and use perm edit.

perm edit grants system access to any running process. however you determine which process you want to have this ability.. so don't worry if you think using it will suddenly allow any spyware you may have all sorts of access, because it wont.

step 1. you download perm edit from your generic software site.
step 2. install perm edit.
step 3. run perm edit in admin mode.
step 4. select the process that your game is, for example:

my game here, king of kings 3 is hidden from me in my memory scanner (t-search)

in order to find out my process name for kok3, it is pretty simple:

ctrl + alt + delete to go to task manager:

here find your game in the normal task manager window, then right click on it and select go to process:

that will take you to your games process, and now you know what the name is to grant access on perm edit:

so we have learned that WE.exe is king of kings 3 (not that we couldn't tell this anyway from the memory usage but hey ho!)

now we run perm edit and select to grant WE.exe system access:

now our game will appear in our memory scanner/whatevers target window! woo!

now we can do whatever our intentions were!
