I was thinking about buying some speakers for my computer, but i want to know whats good. Should i get the ones i linked? I dont really want to go over $200.

@ydocsmada For music, you should seriously consider buying active monitors. I will recommend the Monitor Audio AV40.

I would have recommended the Swan MKII08 but they are discontinued, because swan is updating it with the D1010-IV. That should come out in the Fall of this year. So if you can wait, it will be really worth it. Swans probably make the best active monitors and they sound so natural and smooth for music. But if you can't wait, jump on the Monitor Audio AV40. You will not be dissapointed.

As for LG, they make some crappy speakers and isn't considered an audiophile speaker brand.

So you are a metal head You don't really need a subwoofer for that kind of music. And besides, the AV40 will have plenty of bass for your needs. Get them. You will be pleased you did.
