There used to be a vote team. Hell, it was totally legit. Now, we can only vote for one, when now I can see that the signature that deserves second will not be receiving it.

lol this is the way it was voted b4 that top 3 shit. Voting team was biased for sure. Who cares if random noobs look at stuff and like it and vote. Would you die if u didnt get vip for a week.

if its that bad do 2 competitions one open to general public, one to the gfx "elite"

IMO it was. i fink the 2-3 times it was done, the first time only like half the team voted and one in the team won, on the 2nd time, i didn't vote, so i cant tell you who voted and who didn't, obviously it didn't work out so great bc soon after that died. If a team is done, it has to be impartial and people who do not participate in the SoTw.

Just because someone in the team one it means were biased? Well, the vote team was a crash because no one was active (as normal). I just think that the 1st 2nd 3rd vote type works. We aren't voting for VIP, I actually forgot there was VIP prize o.o

I think its funny how people still vote for there self, after the rules state

This is my first sotw, so i don't really know about the old voting, im just stating that i think it would be a lot better, if people that actually knew about graphics at all, and see how hard these people put into there work, instead of takn a stock and putin there name on it, and some noob comes around and be like ahh awesome! * vote * when they just ripped someone else work and put there name on it. don't see how that's even fair to the people who put hours into there design..

so havn a team, that has knowledge about any sort of graphics should be the only ones to vote..
and they can vote 1st 2nd and 3rd with reason on why to vote, just like @Kuro Tenshi did.. i think thats the fairest way.

and this way, people dont have there friends to vote for them..

the team also has to be trusted people who you know wouldn't be biased and vote for there friend, but actually vote for which one they think is the better one..

i dont know, thats just my opinion on the matter.. hope the people that did vote for them selfs do get Dq'd ^^

(Even though the vote-ing team was fair enough.) and this is always the basic voting system. + i dont really think most wouldnt give a crap about vip here. :/
more the tag based system before was kinda sweet tobad that it got shutdown since you needed to create another one for each 1-3th place.

Vote team takes too long to work out, to create, and overall it just doesn't get enough votes. And in all honesty I don't really mind if some noob wins it this week. It's only VIP, most people here that would win probably wouldn't use it, plus with vote team, we'd have the same people winning week after week. If it's just a simple poll at least we can have some variation in the results. Maybe if it's ok with Liz and other staff, perhaps if some piece of shit gets first when there's obviously a better tag that missed out, we'll just ignore the one that got first.

Here the best tag is winning. 2nd and 3rd place doesn't matter that much. All they get is an image. If need be I won't hand out 2nd and 3rd place trophies next time.
