You gotta get the Ethernet Drivers.. for you to be able to use the internet, its not like Win7 where it automatically detects it and what not.. just find out what motherboard you have and find all the drivers

You go onto another computer that does have internet and download them and put them on a usb drive, thats what i had to do until i updated to windows 7.
