QUESTION: Is it acctually a new HDD I need?

OMFG ITS ME AGAIN! ey guys! like a week ago, i started up my laptop and my nethew kicked his shoe at my keyboard (like a BAWS) . I heard this wierd sound like uhhhhhh-eh uhhhhhhhh-eh then everthing stopped responding and i had to force restart... then whenever i reboot (and at that time( i get the strange sound for a few secs and the mesage: PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cabel. PXE-M0F: exiting broadcom PXE ROM. No bootable device --- insert bootdisk and press any key. i checked on bios on the startup menu thing and i dont have a harddrive on that list, i looked on the first page and i see HDD Model : None. I have identified that the sound IS coming from the Harddrive and here is what the sound is like...
sooo is it just a new hdd i need or what?
sorry for so many posts, its cause i has so many questions
