I would definatley apply, for the reason of helping. I am constantly helping people in the help section, hah.

not saying you can't handle it, but maybe 2 minions from like different GMT zones would be handy.
Altough you say you're on every 10minutes to browse trough, somebody from like 4~8hours further should be regulary on when you're sleep.
Don't take this as any offend or something, but a second minion should be handy.

2 people have better and more ideas then only 1.

there's nothing to moderate.
We're all in this section and we're all sharing our ides.
It isn't down to the minions to make the section active

All that more contests will do is get some people visiting and then leaving again so
what we need is people to go recruiting

I don't think their's anything you can do or I can do to force people to join the minecraft section.
Only persuasion but that won't be able to make them stay for good
