It's not thaaat bad Matt, but your effects seem to be running way to much of the show,
which in turn makes your focal look pretty drab in comparison.

This sums it up. Your effects and lighting is actually really clean but your focal work needs to improve, either you whore something onto the focal or you tone everything else down to suit the focal, I think the latter is the better option.

Go download pochy psd's for smudging. Pretty sure he includes his settings with them.
