Reply With QuotePerX is not a virus.. I have AVG and it detect too as a virus, but its an injector... but anyway it can be a fake PerX be sure you downloaded it from MPGH for no viruses

PerX injector
everytime i try to open the PerX injector it will say that it is infected or its a virus so do i delete it or keep it?

It is a false positive, it gets picked up as a virus but it isn't, simply put it on your exceptions list on your anti-virus and you'll be good to go

It's really not a virus... That's why i don't use perX and can still use my antivirus
So have your antivirus "allow" it, if it gives that option. Or turn the antivirus off.1/08/2011: MPGHian

Try ending the process of your Anti-Virus before opening the injector.
What you're getting is something called a 'False-positive' which is when the anti-virus program says it's certain that something is a virus, when the object/program is actually completely safe.Thank meh if I helped you
