Was driving in heavy traffic in a manual car, tl;dr: I stalled the car 6 TIMES IN A ROW trying to take off at a red light, couldn't figure out how the fuck I kept doing it. I'm guessing I was trying to rush and was nervous, but fuck, was so embarrassing. Also, the car I'm driving doesn't have a rev counter (because it's old and.. shit) making it about 10x harder especially when you're learning.

Should take it to a paddock somewhere and get used to the clutch. You can try what I usually do when I come to a set of lights. Clutch in>brake to stop>lift clutch slowly until you hear revs change>lift foot off brake> wait for lights to go green>put foot down on gas>slowly release the clutch as you pull away from intersection.

You don't look at your rpms, you listen to the engine.

But I have been riding dirt bikes since I cant remember so driving a stick came naturally to me since I was already used to using a clutch and shifting.
