Now, to the OP, from those 2 I would choose the fusion, been on both and fusion seems to be both fun to drive and not as expensive as the Jetta. The Jetta model's transmission, gears, shift cams, and some other parts are made in Ucraine. I do not want to offend anyone but, I've met some people that had VWs (not only Jettas) that had serious defects in transmission system, they couldnt change gears properly, and worse, the cars (some of them) had just come out the dealer. I mean, it might not happen to you but U might be unlucky with the VW. Ford Fusion isn't prone to those issues but I've heard better comments regarding Fusion than Jetta.

Well, in the end is up to you. I go for Fusion

I would totally get that over a ford fusion. All this shit you hear about parts breaking all the time is bullshit. How do you think VW became the world's largest vehicle manufacturer? Not by making cars that break all the time.
