Anyone know how to delete a icon if it won't let you delete it? ( This isn't a trick)

First off, I looked for a help section and I may be blind which will most likely be the case if there is a help section but didn't find one.
But my question is what can I do to delete a icon that won't let me delete it even though it's not important but just won't let me delete it and it's 0 bytes, here is a picture.

I'm going to add that the only thing I can do with this file is drag it around the desktop, can't move it into any folder or delete it or rename it.

Because it's useless, it just sits there on my desktop mocking me and I like a clean organized desktop and this worthless file won't bugger off and go to the recycle bin.

No, not a virus, I can tell you it's a file that was made when I tried making my first minecraft skin but it wasn't good so now I'm just trying to get rid of it.

Try refreshing your desktop, by right clicking and clicking refresh.
or try changing the file name, then deleting it.

Didn't work, don't know what else to do either, everything you guys are telling me is stuff I've tried, i'm just hoping there is someone in this community that's had this sort of problem that could help or know of a program that could remove it or something of the sort.

I think that means its already deleted. Try restarting your cpu and deleting it, if it still doesn't delete after you restart it, i don't know what to tell you bro.

Right click desktop>view>untick show desktop icons.

You seem to have some intelligence to you, so I'm sure you've already tried but I'd guess that this is a very common problem as I've encountered it before as well -- try googling "could not find this item cannot delete".

okay make sure minecraft isnt running. and or the folder for minecraft isnt opened.
