This guide is here to show you the different kinds of builds and what your stats should look like with the builds.
First, let's take a look at the stats and briefly describe each one so you have a clearer view of what you might pick.
The Stats:
There are 6 stats in the game of Adventure quest - Strength (STR),
Intelligence (INT), Dexterity (DEX), Endurance (END), Charisma (CHA) and Luck
(LUK). All of these stats, either singly or in combination with one or two of
the other stats, help your character win battles more easily.
STRENGTH - STR affects melee and ranged attacks. It provides a random damage
bonus for melee weapons. In combination with DEX, it provides a
random damage bonus for ranged weapons. And in combination with DEX and
LUK, it increases your chance to hit the monster you are attacking with a
melee weapon your 'Bonus to Hit' (BtH).
DEXTERITY - DEX affects the BtH of all types of attacks (melee, ranged
and magic). In combination with STR, it provides a random damage bonus for
ranged weapons. It also (with LUK) increases your chance to block attacks
by monsters. And the more DEX you have, the better chance you have of
finding out whether a potion chest is trapped, allowing you to "de-trap"
it and get potions instead of an explosion!
INTELLIGENCE - INT affects your magic attacks. It provides a random
damage bonus for magic spells and weapons. In combination with DEX and
LUK, it increases you magic bonus to hit (for both spells and magic
weapons). It ALSO increases your total MP.
ENDURANCE - END is the simplest stat. The higher your END, the more HP
you have and it'll take longer to kill you than if you had 0 END.
CHARISMA - CHA affects the random damage your pets and guests do. The
higher the CHA, the more damage - 15 points of CHA = +1 random damage.
It also increases those pets/guests BtH in the same way. There is a
growing number of pets/guests where higher CHA gives increased chance of
attack - too many to mention here - and there will be more. There are 3
pets will attack 66% of the time if your CHA matches their Training
Difficulty - Trobble, Buccaneer Trobble and Ice Dragon Egg. CHA also
affects the Summon Pixie healing (10%, or 10 + CHA to a maximum of 75,
whichever is less). The "Summon ...." spell guests ( Pixie, Skull,
Squirrel and Energy Dragon ) and the guest that are summoned from various
class armors also receive CHA bonuses since they take the guest place in
battle
LUCK - LUK helps in a small way with lots of things. It helps with BtH,
as outlined above. With DEX, it helps you block monster attacks. The
higher your LUK, the more chance you have of having the first attack in a
battle. And finally, the level of your LUK affects at what level your
character will find bigger treasure chests. (If you are under level 30,
then you get a small treasure chest, which contains 125 gold. However, at
level 30 and above, the way you get a chest is worked out as:
L = 30 to 49: Treasure Chest, 275
L = 50 to 64: Big Treasure Chest, 425 gold
L = 65 to 84: Huge Treasure Chest, 650 gold
L = 85+: Treasure Hoard, 960 gold
L = Character level + LUCK/5 so if you are a L46 character with 0 LUK,
you'd be getting an ordinary chest. But with 25 LUK, you'd get a BIG
one, instead!
The Builds:
