    AQ Character Build Guide

This guide is here to show you the different kinds of builds and what your stats should look like with the builds.

First, let's take a look at the stats and briefly describe each one so you have a clearer view of what you might pick.

    The Stats:
There are 6 stats in the game of Adventure quest - Strength (STR),
Intelligence (INT), Dexterity (DEX), Endurance (END), Charisma (CHA) and Luck
(LUK). All of these stats, either singly or in combination with one or two of
the other stats, help your character win battles more easily.

STRENGTH - STR affects melee and ranged attacks. It provides a random damage
bonus for melee weapons. In combination with DEX, it provides a
random damage bonus for ranged weapons. And in combination with DEX and
LUK, it increases your chance to hit the monster you are attacking with a
melee weapon your 'Bonus to Hit' (BtH).

DEXTERITY - DEX affects the BtH of all types of attacks (melee, ranged
and magic). In combination with STR, it provides a random damage bonus for
ranged weapons. It also (with LUK) increases your chance to block attacks
by monsters. And the more DEX you have, the better chance you have of
finding out whether a potion chest is trapped, allowing you to "de-trap"
it and get potions instead of an explosion!

INTELLIGENCE - INT affects your magic attacks. It provides a random
damage bonus for magic spells and weapons. In combination with DEX and
LUK, it increases you magic bonus to hit (for both spells and magic
weapons). It ALSO increases your total MP.

ENDURANCE - END is the simplest stat. The higher your END, the more HP
you have and it'll take longer to kill you than if you had 0 END.

CHARISMA - CHA affects the random damage your pets and guests do. The
higher the CHA, the more damage - 15 points of CHA = +1 random damage.
It also increases those pets/guests BtH in the same way. There is a
growing number of pets/guests where higher CHA gives increased chance of
attack - too many to mention here - and there will be more. There are 3
pets will attack 66% of the time if your CHA matches their Training
Difficulty - Trobble, Buccaneer Trobble and Ice Dragon Egg. CHA also
affects the Summon Pixie healing (10%, or 10 + CHA to a maximum of 75,
whichever is less). The "Summon ...." spell guests ( Pixie, Skull,
Squirrel and Energy Dragon ) and the guest that are summoned from various
class armors also receive CHA bonuses since they take the guest place in
    battle

LUCK - LUK helps in a small way with lots of things. It helps with BtH,
as outlined above. With DEX, it helps you block monster attacks. The
higher your LUK, the more chance you have of having the first attack in a
battle. And finally, the level of your LUK affects at what level your
character will find bigger treasure chests. (If you are under level 30,
then you get a small treasure chest, which contains 125 gold. However, at
level 30 and above, the way you get a chest is worked out as:

    L = 30 to 49: Treasure Chest, 275
    L = 50 to 64: Big Treasure Chest, 425 gold
    L = 65 to 84: Huge Treasure Chest, 650 gold
    L = 85+: Treasure Hoard, 960 gold

    L = Character level + LUCK/5 so if you are a L46 character with 0 LUK,
you'd be getting an ordinary chest. But with 25 LUK, you'd get a BIG
    one, instead!

    The Builds:

    1) Pure Mage
A character devoted solely to magic attacks, they are highly powerful,
accurate and good at blocking enemy attacks. But they aren't overly durable
(though compensated by high blocking ability), and are very poor at melee
    attacks.

    STR 0
    DEX 200
    INT 200
    END 50
    CHA 0
    LUK 50

    2) Battle Mage

[Hybrid Variant] Though specializing in magic, these guys can also fight well
with melee equipment. Their drawback is low durability and blocking ability.

    STR 120
    DEX 130
    INT 200
    END 50
    CHA 0
    LUK 0

    3) Power Hybrid

[Hybrid Variant] One of the most versatile to use. These guys use a mix of
melee and magic and focus on offense. Their drawback is decreased durability
and blocking ability. They sacrifice blocking abilities for better attack
    power.

    STR 170
    DEX 110
    INT 170
    END 50
    CHA 0
    LUK 0

    4) Balanced Hybrid

[Hybrid Variant] The true all-rounder build of AQ one and useful in almost any
situation. These guys use a mix of melee and magic with moderate offensive and
defensive capabilities. Their drawback is that none of their features hit the
wow factor (if you consider that a drawback).

    STR 150
    DEX 150
    INT 150
    END 50
    CHA 0
    LUK 0

    5) Mystical Warrior

[Hybrid Variant] A durable melee-based fighter with reasonable magic
capabilities. But somewhat lacking in accuracy and blocking abilities.

    STR 200
    DEX 130
    INT 120
    END 50
    CHA 0
    LUK 0

    6) Pure Warrior

This is a moderately powerful character is devoted soley to melee attacks,
which means they don't need their MP. They are also blessed with accuracy and
durability. Unfortunately, they are poor at magic based attacks.

    STR 200
    DEX 200
    INT 0
    END 50
    CHA 0
    LUK 50

    7) Ranger

These guys specialize in the use of bows and other projectile weaponry, making
them fast attacks. They can use melee weapons equally well and are good at
blocking attacks. They aren't highly durable and their attacks are relatively
weak due to the lack of strong ranged weapons.

    STR 200
    DEX 200
    INT 0
    END 50
    CHA 0
    LUK 50

    8) BeastMaster Mage

This character's power lies in strong bond to his pets and guest who fight by
his side. They have excellent attack power but lacking a bit in blocking.

    STR 0
    DEX 100
    INT 175
    END 50
    CHA 175
    LUK 0

    9) BeastMaster Hybrid

This character's power lies in strong bond to his pets and guest who fight by
his side. However, this comes at the price of their own abilities which are
    substandard.

    STR 120
    DEX 90
    INT 120
    END 50
    CHA 120
    LUK 0

    10) BeastMaster Warrior

This character's power lies in strong bond to his pets and guest who fight by
his side. They have excellent attack power but lacking a bit in blocking.

    STR 150
    DEX 150
    INT 0
    END 50
    CHA 150
    LUK 0

    11) Annihilator Mage

This mage type character can do extremely powerful magic damage along with
excellent precision and blocking ability. But it has greatly sacrificed it's
    durability for it.

    STR 0
    DEX 200
    INT 200
    END 0
    CHA 0
    LUK 100

    12) Annihilator Hybrid

This hybrid variant can do overwhelming melee and magic damage with a moderate
accuracy and dodging ability. But it has an underwhelming number of hit points.

    STR 200
    DEX 100
    INT 200
    END 0
    CHA 0
    LUK 0

    13) Annihilator Warrior/Ranger

This is an unusual warrior based character that tops the ranks in melee/ranged
power and accuracy. But it's the least durable of warriors. Note: this set of
stats will suit both the warrior and ranger versions.

    STR 200
    DEX 200
    INT 0
    END 0
    CHA 0
    LUK 100

    14) Tank Mage

This mage type character can do extremely powerful magic damage along with
excellent durability. But it has greatly sacrificed its blocking ability for
    it.

    STR 0
    DEX 100
    INT 200
    END 200
    CHA 0
    LUK 0

    15) Tank Hybrid

This hybrid type character is can do extremely powerful magic and melee damage
along with excellent durability. But it has greatly sacrificed its blocking
    ability for it.

    STR 150
    DEX 50
    INT 150
    END 150
    CHA 0
    LUK 0

    16) Tank Warrior

This Warrior type character can do extremely powerful melee damage along with
excellent durability. But it has greatly sacrificed its blocking ability for
    it.

    STR 200
    DEX 150
    INT 0
    END 150
    CHA 0
    LUK 0

    Thank me if i helped.
