I own a wide collection of knives, a bow, a crossbow, and a big-bore blowgun. However since NYC and NY in general is very "liberal", you have to go through a ridiculous amount of redtape to keep a firearm. If you want a CCW license in NY, nothing short of being on active duty, a PI, or working for a security firm will get you that license. I'm moving the fuck out of this shitty state and plan to live further South.

Yah..Jersey is pretty much the same way.
I applied for my conceal and carry about 2 years ago.
Basically took my money for filing charges and haven't heard shit back from the police or state.
