basically anyone who is the getting the game on release date which is now please tell if the stats are stored server based or local, my guess it'll be local because it's an IWnet game. Anyone who has made hacks in the past like rank hacks and the stats are infact local make on asap test it out my guess it will undetected like the other ones out their. Let's get a rank hack out early if the stats are server sided and post a comment wheather if you know 100 percent that the stats are local.

I didn't download the full torrent, but I pre-loaded MW3 using Steam, and the way it's setup looks as if the stats will be saved locally. No guarantees, don't worry though I'll know for sure in a few hours.

That is when steam unlocks it lol (according to the countdown not till 10 am est tomorrow). Don't know if I'll use a rank hack though. Used on for cod4 but thats only cause i Ranked up playing the 360 years ago. It tends to suck the fun out of it for me.

I really hope it local because their is so much shit in this game and since the dedicated servers aren't ranked I don't want to spend all that time prestiging and shit BF3 is better in my opinion just because of the connection and new game engine MW3 is just MW2 with more guns and a little tweaked with the graphics nothing more

how would they know for sure if you did hack your rank if its locally stored? I guess logs but do you really think they are going to go hounding for rank hacks when they have aimboters/wallhackers to deal with? just my two scents

Useless thread is useless? If stats turn out to be local, people that have the ability to code tools/trainers will do it quickly.
