I can't say exactly. I'd get a small house, a nice car, fill my small but comfortable house with everything I can think of. I know for a fact I would overdose or do something stupid as fuck and land myself in the sky, but I would say no matter what, I could still live the rest of my life comfortably with that amount.

okay. a teacher is paid 40k or so a year. they live perfectly comfortable with that. thats with car payments, house payments, loans , credit card payments. If you have 1mil. You will have no car payments, house payments, loans, and credit card payments.

However, to get the 30k per year, that requires investing all of the $1M, so that means no purchasing a house or car.

like i said in my original post. 300k house pay it all off (no more monthly payments) 50k car pay it all off (no more monthly payments) won't need a credit card because ill have my debit card/cash. and no loans (if any loans, will be paid off)

so you have the extra money still...with 650k and not many bills

Okay so here's the scenario. Let's say you are about 25 or so. You have no job, no car, and no house. You come across $1,000,000. How long would you be able to live? Assuming you don't obtain a job.

Gab says about 2 years.

Toxin says about 100 years.

I say about 35 years.

Post a rough telling of how you would go about living. i.e

*Pay off a house for 300k
*Pay off a car for 50k
Leaves me 650k
*Max of 5k for food a year

I'd live life normally, act like nothing has happened. Invest it in a business or the stock market. Once I see something positive coming out of those endeavors, I would then start spending money. To answer your question, it could last potentially forever - or as long as you live.
