You did not run it from the main directory. Restore the backup files, and extract all the texthack files to the main folder, run from there.
Did the same thing, bit quick about reading the instructions , like you I guess.

I wouldn't use them, files not matching is a good hint that something is not right. Wait a while and see how it goes with others, in the mean time you can use the other texture hack that is around.

@Archangel infinityward/steam come up with improved security all the time, its just a matter of time before they figure this out.

they didnt ban for rank hacks ethier but now theyre saying they will ban prestiege 10 people...

things change and doesnt take that long to make it match original size both me and craig have done it.
i remember when you first came to me to ask how to do this in mw2 when you wanted to learn.... you seemed eager to do it properly now your doing it sloppy. Do it right or dont do it at all as any old man will tell ya

a better way would to have it write the files to the correct size instead of simply installing them. would make a big dl alot smaller with some good installer coding maybe ... out of my league, maybe with your buddy master you could figure it out.

Shouldn't be too hard, I know the IWI format structure and I have some sample codes for spoofing CRC32 hashes. I'll add it into the installer sometime soon, I'll release what I've got so far for now. Waiting to see if Archangel says it's OK to replace his attachment with mine.

3. Open the Texture hack v1.0.rar and let the files extract to your main folder.
