Okay, but no executable code inside, just textures.

It doesn't matter, you have to upload them no matter what.

0_o For some reason mw3 is now re-downloading itself and I need to finish it before I can start playing again...

EDIT: finished downloading and nothing changed, everything works fine now

Thats why i always tell People do not use a da*** Installer , simple extract the v1.0 winrar archieve, and then install manually , by open the IWD\Image Folder & drag & drop them Inside , thats not so much work ( done in less then 5 min.) & you will see that the texture hack is still working ! Why? well my is still working , also the mw2 texturehack from Archangel is still working , used them 1 hour ago.


HOW IW5MP.EXE Works

1. It Scans The .IWD 00-23 ( to see if all .IWD Files are There)
2. It Scans The .IWD Files from Inside ( if all names of the textures are correct)
3. Finally it scans all Texturefiles ( inside the .IWD`s) for CRC , if they doesnt match you get "Files Different from Server"

So if you have install it proper , thoose Texture hacks will never be Detected! ( as i said mw2 texture hack still working , so mw3 works too)

Record a clip from a match. Upload it to my fileshare. Someone else downloads it and watches it. Will the colours be in that clip?

so what you're saying is if I install it manually (put every files in right folder by myself) it will not be detected? also there's MW3 Textures v2 now, should I use that instead of the one on first page?

SURE! Cause you have the texture Hack, You making a video from your ingame ( with colored players) then upload it, and boom other people will see it. Cause if you can see colored players in the vid , everybody else can see it too. Thats why i Say " Do Not Make A video!"

If you only play with custom textures , then nobody else can see it! But video will show that ya cheating. dont believe? well simple try it & send to a friend.
