You make me feel better about expecting mine
Yeah. It sounds absolutely bullshit because it's saying I downloaded a music file at 6:50am (which I wouldn't have been awake) using µTorrent 2.2.0 and it's Lady Gaga whom i do not like in the slightest.
Stupid ass new law.
Copyright Infringement Detection Notice
This notice informs you that Recording Industry Association of New Zealand (RIANZ) acting on behalf of INTERSCOPE RECORDS (UNIVERSAL MUSIC NEW ZEALAND LIMITED) has detected what may be an infringement of their copyright occurring via a file sharing network at your IP address.
Parliament has passed a law called the Copyright (Infringing File Sharing) Amendment Act 2011.
This law allows the owners of copyrighted material (rights owners) to enforce their rights against people who use file sharing applications to illegally share copyrighted material.
We do not proactively monitor what you download using your Slingshot internet connection. The new law does not change this. However rights holders can monitor IP addresses and the law does require us to match these addresses to account holders and send this notice and the attached information to you under section 122A to 122R of the Act. Your personal details have not been made available to the rights owner. Slingshot is passing on this notification on their behalf.
Slingshot respects the rights of all owners of copyright material to determine how and if they make their material available, however our main responsibility is to you, our customer.
As an account holder you should know that the law says:
- Liability for alleged copyright infringement lies with the person who ‘owns’ the Internet account. If the account is in your name then the liability, according to the law, is with you, no matter who pays the bill or who used your account, whether with or without your permission.
- Rights owners can record the internet protocol (IP) address of who has shared their material and pass this on to the internet service provider, such as Slingshot, which looks after that IP address so that a notice can be sent.
- All internet service providers, including Slingshot, must pass on to you the copyright notices that they receive from rights owners.
- If an account holder receives three notices within 9 months that relate to the same rights owner, the rights owner may choose to take a claim for up to $15,000 to the Copyright Tribunal.
Please note:
We strongly recommend that you familiarise yourself with the notice regime. The Government has created the following website to provide information on the regime and we strongly recommend that you read the information provided:
https://www.med.govt.nz/templates/StandardSummary____46206****px?epslanguage=EN
As an account holder you can dispute infringement allegations. The processes for you to do so are outlined on the Government's website noted above.
·If you elect to challenge this notice, we have setup an online link to allow you to enter the necessary details. Please note that for a challenge to be valid it must be received no later than 14 days after the date of this infringement notice.
A challenge for this notice can be lodged at the following link

GO TO A STORAGE AND BUY THEM.
do you have a brother or sister that could have done it? plus who uses utorrent for downloading songs..
aaaaaaa jail for u
Nope, no siblings. I've never used utorrent, all my downloads are from either warez-bb (direct downloads) or media fire. The only other people that use computers in my house are my uncle and my dad and I'm 99% sure they're not computer literate enough to even know how to work utorrent.
Get an office number, fax 'em a picture of your penis.
