Claw grip vs palm grip

For me the Xai was bliss. Best mouse I ever had. Too bad it had an issue with its scroll wheel, and only lasted a year, otherwise I would be recommending it to everyone. It fit so well, moved perfectly, was a great weight, and had gripped sides, unlike this Deathadder, which made it easy to pick up and move around the pad, unlike this deathadder. (slick sides ftl ) I wish steelseries would use a bit more quality assurance, as their products seem to like to break. (See Siberia V1's)

Too light for me, just like the Lachesis. And I love the feel of the G5 / G500, feels both so much tougher and solid than the Xai or Lachesis (also the coarse-y side plastic is megusta to the max).

But it really is a pain to pick this thing up and move it around. I've got to grip it really weird. :/

I've gotten used to using the side buttons as an anchor. A friend of mine has a matte version, and boy is that shit grippy compared to mine, so I guess I know what you mean.

Had the Lachesis myself and once I switched to the G5 ... bliss. The G500? Even more bliss. I dunno, I just find it far more comfortable for both my hybrid or full palm playing style. And it's not ambidextrous, which just adds to the comfort

Claw grip in CoD, Quake, Doom, TF2, CSS

Palm grip in BC2, BF3, and other non FPS games.

As for the mouse, I like the deathadder for it's high profile, it feels great with a hybrid grip for me, you barely need to raise your knuckles to get the benefits of a claw grip.
