Retail imo.


I mean, sure, that server will be fun for 2 hours...then you realize you've gotten everything in the game, and then it will become boring. I will admit, however, I do play on private servers every Tuesday morning from ??-12:00, if I don't have school that day.


But...if you need help connecting to one, or anything of the sort, I would be happy to help, just send me a message or something.

Pservers are not worth playin anymore. Too many noobs who have no idea whats going on because they instant lvl 70/80, and blizzard started to shut down servers.

Yes they are full of noobs. I'll give you that. Many of which have never played Retail before. However not all of them have instant 70 (And more often than not, the servers now that do offer instant leveling, will take you to 80)
There are also many low, and med rate realms. With working DK class. Granted its a pserver and it WONT be perfect, regardless of which one you go to, but they are fun to fiddle around with. This coming from the former admin of EpsWoW and owner of WoW Syndicate and EWoW@EpicGamerz. (Plug plug)
So its not only from a players standpoint but an administrative figure that knows the back end.

Private servers are an alternative, if you don't want to invest alot of time and money into it.

There are some servers that are blizz-like (drop, exp, etc...x1), like retail but free, but most are funservers where you get all of this free shit and it takes the fun out of the game imo.

Ah I remember doing that...
Was not easy.
I also remember making client side changes...a lot of them, Including adding our own music to the game's soundtrack. so the .playall command played a lot of Disturbed
