I used to use Norton 360 and it was quite good in terms of protection from infections. After switching to Trend Micro Titanium Maximum Security, however, I noticed a large improvement in the boot time of my computer. Norton really slows you down, and Trend Micro is amazing.

The best free antivirus available appears to be Avast! Antivirus, because it has a lot of functionality.

Just going to warn some. Even if it's 100% detection rate viruses and malware can be encrypted to FUD (Fully Undetect(ed/able)) Be cautious.

In my personal opinion that chart is completely off. There are quite a few reasons I won't recommend Norton to anybody.

What about MalwareBytes? I use it for scanning my computer and it has a very high detection rate.

Has anyone here experience with Veeam? Looking into it for a client and wanted some real world reports.
