Thats due to you not be running 10-20 app´s at the same time some people need more ram...
In my case i am running 4 gigs and passively i am using 2 gb just with the normal apps :|

I would have spent more on a nicer case, but I wasn't really sure what I wanted. I plan on getting a better case at some point though. I really like the Fractal R3 series for their professional look, so I might go with one of those. I bought the HAF case because it had decent cable management, looks okay, and was cheap. It does the job for now.

As for the Hyper 212+, it cools really well, but is pretty loud and seems to rattle at high RPMs. I can run at 100% CPU load with the 4.6GHz overclock and stay under 70c, but the problem there is the fan noise. Not only is the fan loud (and the case has no sound padding -- think Fractal R3 again), but it is spinning at 2000RPM, attached only to the heat sync, which is top-heavy and weak. Add a poorly balanced fan to that mix, and things get just shaky enough to create a somewhat loud rattle noise. And on top of all that, it took me all of a week to figure out that my BIOS had the option of setting the fan to speed up based on temperature, so I was running the fan at full speed for a week, which annoyed the hell out of me.

One of the reason why I like the Noctua. I've heard that their fans are incredibly quite and their heatsink design very good as well.
