Who want's MGold(forum gold) to exist?

So basically you can earn MGold, and you can purchase it off MPGH?
I however doubt people are actually going to use it as valuta, as no one would value MGold over RSGP/accounts for example
(You can't spend them, unless someone else is interested in it and so on ...)

I'd rather have the 'Experience Shop', which would feature all kind of amazing items; from auto name-/titlechanges to an '***@mpgh.net' email.

Optionally, perhaps a coloured usertitle would be more suitable though: basically all colours are in use already, and we wouldn't want to get confused between a Staff member and a regular member.

I'm not really in for the 'earn MGold like you earn Experience now', mainly because 99% of our members would rather keep posting alot for some time (indeed spamming) than purchasing MGold; would also make MGold less valuable to the seller.

MGold and Experience Points should be independent from eachother.
MGold can be used to trade with eachother (fast, easy to track with scam reports, no option to dispute as with PayPal etc)
Experience Points can be spend at the Experience Shop (for name-/usertitlechanges (+ coloured), sub-stickies and '@mpgh.net' email domains)

Optionally you could purchase Experience Points with MGold, if you come a little short for a fancy '@mpgh.net' email domain for example.

The way you will know they arnt staff they will have a member tag so no staff tag and they will have no [mpgh] infront of their name kinda like how princess is but no tag.

It sure is a possibilty, but I doubt Dave would allow members to have a Red name for example
Even if it's going to be featured in the Experience Shop: it should be a temporary name colour ('XX' credits/month for example).

Well to be honest, one of the main reasons we upgraded to vB4 was for the upcoming shop.

Featuring anything from username changes, title changes, image titles, larger avatars, user colors, symbols maybe, VIP subscriptions, etc. As far as MPGH emails, we will never (don't quote me on it) give them out, because it has high value, especially to scammers. The current experience system already provides currency, but it could be called MGold, or whatever we so desired.

For those who are lazy, it could be purchased, and activity rewards MGold. Everything has an intrinsic value, even posts, as some people have sold their accounts for $100+ dollars. The more options the currency provides, the higher value it retains.

Of course, this comes with problems, and more. We intend to release a shop, but we have other obligations, but it'll come, along with the new redesigned skin.
