Over the past couple of weeks frustration has been building in regards to daily raid drops. Mainly glas, and colru. So I did a test for a week. I ran 4 days using the ohk method. then the remaining three I let the clock run out 30 min then hit the ohk. Results were no shiny stones or torn pants or es for the immediate ohk, and for colru i got a shiny stone, leopard es , and with glas i got torn pants 1 outta 3. Which leads me to my question. is it possible that nexon has placed a rule in effect limiting the items u get based on the time in battle? Or is it simply the luck of the draw. Anyways would like to hear ur input.. Thanks. and Happy hunting!
Times no, but I've got a sneaking suspicion that the location you kill a boss at matters for "chance rating."

By location I'm referring to the location that the boss is killed at, although it could be something with where the boss is upon it's death, and not where you're standing when you kill it.
It would be very difficult to test the first :P

Well, I just got my first glas pants in a 5 seconds run like 1-2 weeks ago. And I got a few good things in lion/colru in speed runs.
I think I actually never got anything good in real legit runs (10 mins +). And I was doing every raids every day for a while.
I think you just got lucky.
In testing a few of my personal bots (back in the day) when I was setting up farm bots for Taking initiative and other ones, I always seemed to get more drops in certain areas (this pertains to scrolls)
For instance I got 4 maelstrom scrolls one after the other when running it and killing hte boss with both of us located relatively close to the right hand side of the bonfire, and drums.
Whereas if I killed him directly (or off to the side some but still towards the entrance) I would only get like three a night.
It's just a theory but I wouldn't doubt there is some sort of angle. That's how games work.
In world of warcraft you get better drops if you run a dungeon that no one has ran recently. Something to do with the way the engine handles drop rates.
I could see nexon doing something similar based on area triggers, or event locations.
