Dunno of anything really decent that cheap, best shot are prolly Grado sr60is (they can go hella cheap and are hella decent), or if you prefer larger cups, ATH's AD500 / AD700.

They're not bad, just the sound they produce is horrible. Absolutely horrible. Grab a pair of dt880s that are known to be far too "neutral" and you'll see the horrible difference

Well SR60is go for 100+ down here same with the majority of Audio Technicas. I'm thinking I may grab some beyerdynamic DT235s for 70 bucks, i hear they well balanced (with pretty good high end) without amps but aren't very comfortable (or stylish for that matter). Now I just need a decent mic.

As said, I'm not that familiar with cheaper headphones, but all I can say is that BD can really produce good higher end ones. From what I checked out they seem like a decent option, but they do kinda look tiny and uncomfortable. Kinda weird that you can't get SR60is that cheap, they're supposedly 60-70ish in the US or something. Anyways, people rate them as decent and pretty well balanced without shitty bass and highs, once they're burned in and all. I would probs get them if I didn't have a fetish for larger cups

Yeah, I have pretty big as well, but I don't really need comfort, I only game for about an hour at a time same for listening to music for that matter. I might get some SRs for my bday though

The K512s are atrocious headphones and are universally hated. And they're the only AKGs that can compete with DT235s price wise.
