Perhaps not 100K. I think I'would need at least 300K to comfortably move out. Put a nice 40% deposit, get a good low interest home loan, rent out 2 rooms to some friends to help pay off the house. Then if we all have day jobs we can live quite comfortably. Roughly a couple g per quarter for bills. I'm looking at around 20K at least for food. As long as the household income is above 100K/year after tax it would be well worth it.
