Protip: by Apeil you'll have AMD's 7k and Nvidia's 600 series. Also new gen SSDs, HDD prices will fall and new chipsets.

Well I'll keep updating it as new releases come out but I think I will stick with the motherboard I have unless something a lot better comes out.

Most likely price drops and better revisions of x79 boards will come along ... well worth it, imo. No point in staying with old tech if you can upgrade.
