This is a very bigoted opinion. Obama has come out multiple times in the past in favor of net neutrality, and this is merely a follow-up on that. Why do people always place doing the right thing and a political action on the same level? Maybe, just maybe, Obama doesn't agree with the proposed legislation?

SOPA was shelved but now it's back IIRC. Even with SOPA gone indefinitely there was still PIPA. The only reason they put away SOPA was to develope a false sense of security. >.>
