z68 are hardly any more expensive (equivalent models are around 20 dollars more and you get the bonus of having a better more OC friendly chipset) so I don't see how your argument holds up.

The chassis itself is crap. Alienware cases (and any prebuilt cases for that matter) are shit quality and are a nightmare for cable management and airflow.
